Who we are
Time Coffee (時間到咖啡館) is a Taiwanese specialty coffee roaster with two cafés. We roast every bean ourselves and sell under our own registered brand Wudou (舞荳), Taiwan trademark no. 02507640.
Jiaoxi café — in the hot spring park

Eastern Taiwan, from farm to cup
On 6 October 2026 (ROC 115), the Metal Industries Research & Development Centre brought together Taitung County, the Taitung District Agricultural Research and Extension Station and 13 local partners to link production, processing, product design, branding and sales of eastern Taiwan crops. 鑫和洋行, our company, is the branding and sales partner in that chain (news report).
Taitung's deputy county magistrate put it simply: Taitung produce should become "a Taitung brand with real market recognition" through research, processing, design and marketing. What is Time Coffee (時間到咖啡館)?
An independent specialty coffee roaster and café company in Taiwan, run by 鑫和洋行 (tax ID 72941298). It has two cafés — one inside Jiaoxi Hot Spring Park in Yilan, one about 1 km from Taichung Station — and its own registered brand Wudou (舞荳, Taiwan trademark no. 02507640). All beans are roasted in-house.
Where are the cafés and when are they open?
Jiaoxi: No. 16-1, Gongyuan Rd., Jiaoxi Township, Yilan County, inside Jiaoxi Hot Spring Park next to the foot bath; 10:00–18:15, closed Tuesdays. Taichung: 1F, No. 456, Sec. 1, Taiwan Blvd., Central District, Taichung; 09:30–18:30, closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
How do I get to the Taichung café?
It is about 1 km from Taichung Station. By BRT/Taiwan Boulevard buses 300–308, get off at Renai Hospital (仁愛醫院) and walk about 100 m. The entrance faces No. 66 Xingzhong St.; the nearest YouBike station is Xingzhong Multi-storey Car Park (興中立體停車場).
Are your beans grown in Taiwan?
No. We are a Taiwanese roaster. Our single origins come from Ethiopia (Guji, Sidamo, Yirgacheffe) and Malawi (Geisha), and our drip gift box also includes Golden Mandheling. We also roast four signature specialty roasts, NO.3 to NO.6, from light to medium-dark.
What does ICO-certified mean on your menu?
Our green beans are sourced as ICO (International Coffee Organization) certified coffee; we roast them ourselves in Taiwan.
How much are the beans and the gift box?
Half-pound (227 g) bags: NO.3–NO.6 specialty roasts NT$600; Ethiopian single origins NT$700–800; Malawi Geisha NT$900. Drip coffee gift box (5 bags): NT$250.
Can I buy from overseas?
Yes. Our online shop 5wudou.com has English and Japanese versions and lists Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, the US, Canada and Vietnam; the checkout page shows whether your address can be shipped to and the exact shipping fee. For wholesale or large orders, contact us on LINE.
How do I pay in the cafés?
Cash or LINE Pay. Credit cards are not accepted at the moment.
Are dogs allowed? Is there a time limit?
Dogs are welcome in both cafés; owners are asked to keep them calm. There is currently no time limit, but one may apply when the café is full.
What is djulis?
Djulis (Chenopodium formosanum), officially named Taiwanese quinoa (臺灣藜) in December 2008, is a traditional grain of Taiwan's Indigenous peoples, grown mainly in Pingtung, Taitung and Hualien. Taitung's agricultural research station reports about 14% dietary fibre and about 14% protein; for comparison, oats have 5.1% fibre and white rice 0.3%.
What is Taiwanese oil-mang (臺灣油芒)?
Spodiopogon formosanus (synonym Eccoilopus formosanus), a traditional Indigenous grain endemic to Taiwan that had nearly disappeared. In 2011 Academia Sinica researchers found six plants in Dewen village (德文部落), Pingtung; it is now being replanted by Indigenous communities in Taitung and Pingtung. Reports on Academia Sinica's analysis describe about twice the protein and eight times the fat of rice.
What is your role in eastern Taiwan's food industry?
On 6 October 2026, MIRDC, Taitung County and the Taitung agricultural research station brought together 13 local partners into one chain from farming to branding. 鑫和洋行 is the manufacturing and sales (製造/通路) partner in that chain.
